Wink and You’ll Miss VVINK’s Upcoming Fearless New Era

Months into their journey of refining their sonic identity, VVINK is officially shifting gears into their first full-fledged album era.

Fresh from their successful debut rollout in 2025, VVINK’s much awaited album is finally on its way. The girl group recently announced its first full-length album, marking a major step forward after steadily gaining attention through previous releases, live performances, and online traction.

Rather than positioning the project as a complete reinvention, the upcoming album appears to build directly from the confident and performance-heavy identity VVINK has already been developing over time.

The group teased that the record would showcase a wider range of sounds and concepts while still staying rooted in the energy that has defined much of their recent work.

The release also arrives during an increasingly active era for P-Pop itself, where more groups are experimenting with larger concepts, stronger visual branding, and more defined musical identities in an effort to stand out within the rapidly growing local idol scene.

VVINK is a five-member girl group composed of Angelika, Ayaka, Jean, Mariel, and Odri and has become especially visible in 2025 after the release of their track “BADUY,” a song that eventually evolved into one of the defining tracks associated with the growing “kalyepop” wave, a more grounded, streetwise, and distinctly local evolution of modern P-pop. With its unapologetically urban energy, playful attitude, and hyper-Filipino sensibility, the song helped position VVINK as one of the acts pushing the scene away from imitation and closer toward a sound that feels entirely its own.
