Our “sporty business bro” and “iconic anaktres” are set to star for an upcoming romantic comedy film Stuck On You, directed by Mikko Baldoza. 

The film casts Xyriel as Sheryl Bunga, a devoted manicurista whose greatest motivation is her family. She’s practical, hardworking, and far removed from the glamorous world typically associated with romantic-comedy leads.

River, meanwhile, takes on the role of Max De Dios, a man celebrated as the most handsome man in the Philippines. But behind the enviable reputation lies a secret that could turn his seemingly perfect life upside down.

The project also marks an interesting chapter for both actors as Manabat remains one of the most recognizable child stars of her generation. Over the years, she has steadily evolved into a versatile actress capable of handling emotionally complex roles. Stuck On You gives her a chance to explore a lighter space, one filled with comedy, romance, and the everyday charm that has made her such a relatable presence on screen.
