A star is about to shine brighter on Hollywood Boulevard. Lea Salonga is set to become the first Filipina and first Filipino to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with the historic ceremony happening on September 4, 2026, in the Live Performance category.

From originating iconic theater roles to becoming the singing voice behind beloved Dsiney princesses, her journey has made her one of the most internationally recognized Filipino performers.

Miss Saigon

No Lea Salonga retrospective would be complete without Miss Saigon. Her portrayals of Kim became her international breakthrough, earning her the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical and establishing her as a major force on the global theater stage.

Her performance also earned Olivier Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Theater World honors, cementing the role as one of the defining achievements of her career.

Aladdin
