Zhang Yingfei, the Chinese actress who portrayed the viral character “Linda Walker” in the microdrama The Heiress Who Won with Brains, arrived in Manila on Monday and was welcomed by fans.

During her visit, Zhang paid a courtesy call to Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso at Manila City Hall. She was accompanied by representatives from the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII). Prior to her official engagements, the actress also visited Intramuros and Binondo to learn more about Filipino history and culture.

The actress has since made several local television appearances, including guest spots on Unang Hirit and It’s Showtime.

Zhang also joined FINA member Nala for a TikTok collaboration. More activities are lined up during her stay, including a scheduled meet-and-greet event at SM North EDSA.

Although Zhang Yingfei is the actress behind the role, many Filipino viewers know her as Linda Walker, the highly intelligent protagonist of The Heiress Who Won with Brains. The character became an online phenomenon in the Philippines, spawning memes, references, and discussions across social media.
