Carmelle, Baby Dolls, more submit entries to the 2027 GRAMMYs

From BINI and SB19 to Baby Dolls, Ben&Ben, and Carmelle Collado, more Filipino artists are setting their sights on the 2027 GRAMMYs.

The road to the 2027 GRAMMYs is opening up for more Filipino artists as more local acts continue to seek consideration at the music award, adding to the growing list of homegrown acts hoping to bring Filipino music to a wider global audience.

Breakout group Baby Dolls is aiming for international recognition with its hit song “Oohh Lala Baby,” which the group submitted for consideration in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category. The track helped the seven-member act gain traction through its catchy sound and dance-friendly appeal, further establishing its place in the local pop scene.

Our morena diva Carmelle Collado is also joining the Grammy consideration campaign with a track from her self-titled debut album. The singer shared that the song holds personal significance, connecting her music to her experiences and emotions. Her entry adds another Filipino voice to the conversation surrounding the global recognition of local talent.

Folk-pop band Ben&Ben has also submitted “Leaves (Reimagined)” for consideration in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. The reimagined version of the band’s beloved song marks another step in its pursuit of recognition beyond the local music scene.

BINI and SB19 recently announced their 2027 GRAMMY entries. BINI submitted “Unang Kilig” (Best Asian Pop Music Performance), “A Parallel World” for Best Song Written for Visual Media, and an entry for Best New Artist. SB19 submitted “VISA” to the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category and “LAWLESS” for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.

With more homegrown acts entering the conversation, OPM fans have even more reasons to keep their eyes on the upcoming awards season.
