In an interview with ZEEN, Angela Muji admitted she was saddened by the change but remains optimistic about what viewers can expect from the character’s new portrayal.

“So sad na Dylan can’t make it as Tripp for Season 2, pero the show must go on,” Angela shared. “First time working with Zeke. Nag-workshop na kami. It’s exciting. All I can say is feeling ko a lot of people will really like him as our new Tripp.”

Rabin Angeles echoed the sentiment, revealing he already shares a friendship with the actor stepping into the role.

“Nalungkot ako na hindi na magagawa ni Dylan kasi parang kapatid ko na rin ‘yan,” Rabin told ZEEN. “Pero tropa pa rin naman ‘yung papalit, so okay lang. Nakasama ko na si Zeke sa Mutya (series Ang Mutya ng Section E). Ang bait-bait niyan.”
